We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist with a solid foundation in the flooring or construction industry. This isn't just a desk job—you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that projects move from the warehouse to the customer’s home seamlessly. You’ll handle everything from inventory management and scheduling to technical support and claims processing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Operational Coordination: Manage daily installation schedules and coordinate with field teams to ensure timely project completion.

  • Inventory Management: Track stock levels, process orders, and ensure materials are ready for upcoming jobs.

  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing expert service with a professional touch.

  • Claims & Warranties: Navigate the complexities of product warranties and process claims efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Technical Support: Assist with project layouts and measurements. Use Measure Square/Light CAD (or similar tools) to verify project requirements.

  • Data Accuracy: Maintain precise records and perform numerical calculations related to square footage, waste factors, and job costing.
     

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience (Required): Proven background in flooring or construction.

  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve issues calmly.

  • Numerical Proficiency: You are "good with numbers" and can calculate dimensions and inventory needs without hesitation.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Measure Square/CAD and/or QFloors is a significant advantage.

  • Self-Starter: You are comfortable working independently, taking a list of tasks, and executing them with minimal supervision.
  • Problem Solver: An understanding of the claims and warranty process is highly preferred.

Schedule:
  • 8:30am-5:30pm

Salary: Based on experience.
