Operations & Customer Experience Leader

Greensboro, NC
Full Time
Mid Level

CSM Flooring is a well-established, growth-oriented company that has successfully combined a long-standing local reputation with a progressive approach to business. Think streamlined digital workflows and such; but always with customer service and sales support at our center.

As an Operations & Customer Experience Leader, you are part of the backbone of our production team. Your role is to ensure that the transition from a completed sale to a finished project moves along accurately, smoothly and as quickly as possible, helping us to deliver on our promises to customers.  You will master product ordering, share vendor and subcontractor relationships, help with inventory management, and back-up our scheduling coordinator.  In this way, you will help provide much of the logistical and administrative structure that allows our front-end teams to deliver on our promise of exceptional service.

Our Operating Philosophy

We believe that a business is only as strong as its people and systems. We operate using a structured framework that emphasizes clarity, accountability, and processes. We don't just hire for a set of tasks; we look for people who want to "own" their area of responsibility and contribute to the overall health and growth of our company as they grow, too.

Who You Are

  • Process-Oriented: You enjoy creating order and following established workflows to ensure consistent results. You don’t just manage tasks, you build better ways of operating.
  • Highly organized and detail-driven—you don’t drop balls, you track them before they’re thrown.

  • Naturally numbers-oriented—you understand margins, costing, and performance metrics.

  • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable navigating computers/software and are a quick study with digital tools.
  • Helpful Communicator: You are approachable and clear, whether you are coordinating with teammates or speaking with customers or vendors.
  • Industry Experience: A background in flooring, construction, or a related trade is required.
  • Growth-Minded: You want to be part of a team that is actively expanding and looking for ways to improve every day.

  • Strengthen and refine systems, processes, and workflows

  • Support scheduling, coordination, and execution with excellence

What We Offer

  • A commitment to your ongoing development and training.
  • Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits including 100% employer-paid healthcare, 401K with company match, and generous PTO.
  • As a Family Forward NC Certified Company, you’ll enjoy our family-friendly culture and everyday approach to work.
